BHULI, DHANBAD

INTRODUCTION 

Bhuli (भूली ) is the largest labour colony of  Asia (एशिया). It is situated in Coal Capital Dhanbad (धनबाद). It is 4 km away from Dhanbad Railway Station. Dhanbad is also known as Black Diamond City. Bhuli (भूली ) is covered by BCCL. Dhanbad is district of  Jharkhand, India.

 HISTORY

Bhuli was situated by former Deputy Prime minister of india(1977-1979)  Babu Jagjivan Ram(जगजीवन राम)  for the workers. Bhuli  was named on the name of his wife Mrs Bhuliya Devi. 

DETAILS

Bhuli had a population of  more than 1 lakh. According to census of 2011 the Sex ratio of Bhuli  is 908.

Majority of people works in coal company BCCL. There are more than 6,000 BCCL quarters. There are  5 blocks named as (A, B, C, D and E) Block.  "D- Block" contains '11-sectors' and  "E- Block" contains '5-sectors. People are very co-operative to each other. Maintain work of quarters and road are in under BTA, Bhuli.

There are two regional Hospital of  BCCL in C- Block and D- Block for free health check-up.

Bhuli has an average literacy rate of 69%, higher than the national average. There are many good schools i.e. De-novely school, Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Saraswati Bal Niketan, Lavina Montessori(for kids), Niraj Memorial school, Nehru Balika high School, Aadarsh Vidyalaya etc.

For their daily need shoping, there are three markets available. They are D-Block Market (D-Block),  New Market (E-Block) and Shakti Market(D- Block). Shakti Market is in center of  Bhuli. For fresh vegitables, there are four evening veg market (Also called HATIA) different place and day( Sunday - E Block, Monday - D Block, Wednesday - B Block and Saturday - A Block,)

There are Police Station in A Block for rural peace,  two Post office in A Block and D Block with Pin code 828104 and 828105 respectively ,  One branch of  BANK OF INDIA   in  D Block   and  Four ATM's Machines( 2- SBI in A Block, 1 BOI and 1 Axis Bank in Shakti Market) .

It is famous for celebrate Durga Puja Festival (Pundals) in Whole Dhanbad district.
